Customer & Website User Terms & Conditions

  1. Kent Works has been designed to help find the right local business for your needs & requirements

  2. Kent Works is not affiliated with any of the businesses listed on our site, we merely provide a service for them.

  3. Local businesses pay us to list their business with us for advertising and to gain more local exposure. We cannot provide any more information on the business if requested.

  4. We are not responsible for the information provided to us by any business. We recommend doing your own research before committing to any kind of purchase or service.

  5. Kent Works is in no way responsible for any kind of issue that may arise from you using one of the businesses listed on our site. In the first instance this must be taken up with the company directly. 

  6. We are not responsible for any reviews a business may have linked to their profile, these review are not verified by Kent Works. 

  7. All business will provide their contact details on their listing, in the majority of cases this should be the following, telephone number, email address and website address. We do not store any further information for them, other than their trading address. 

  8. If you subscribe to our mailing list / newsletters your details will not be passed on to any third parties. These will only be used by us (Kent Works) to contact you with special offers and news regarding local businesses. 

  9. If you post a review on a company, you must ensure that it is not be inappropriate and true to the best of your knowledge. You also agree for us (Kent Works) to use your review for promotional purposes by way of newsletters and email marketing. 

Business Advertiser Terms & Conditions

  1. When taking out a subscription with Kent Works, you agree to provide us with the correct and up to date details for your business.

  2. By signing up to Kent Work subscription service you agree for us to make your company details publicly available via our website. Your personal details will not be made available to anyone. 

  3. These details will not be verified by Kent Works, if we find any information to be untrue or misleading your listing will be removed from our website. 

  4. Kent Works will not accept and form of illegal activity to be advertised via our website. If you are found to be performing any illegal activities, this may be reported to the authorities and you listing will be removed. 

  5. Our service is provided to help you advertise your business and to help gain extra exposure to your business. We are in no way responsible for any issues that may arise between yourself and any customers. We will not get involved in any disputes that may take place. 

  6. At the request of the authorities we may provide your business details to them. 

  7. You have the choice of two types of subscription, Standard & Gold. Please refer to our website to review the difference between packages.

  8. Once you have paid for your annual subscription this in non-refundable.

  9. You may cancel your subscription at any point after the first year if you do not want to continue being listed on our site. If you wish to continue to be listed with us, one of our sales team will contact you on your renewal anniversary date to take payment for your next annual subscription. If our sales team are unable to contact you, your listing will be removed.

  10. Kent Works will regularly advertise our service in the local area. We cannot guarantee that you will receive extra revenue through our services.

  11. Our advertising will be done via social media, online and and local literature. 

  12. Many local business will be advertised on our website. Customers will have the choice to select the relevant business and contact you directly. Advertising with us gives people the choice of which business they would like to contact, based on your company information and reviews.

  13. If you take out our gold subscription we advise that you utilise this to help promote any special offers and discounts you may have. By signing up for the gold service we will include these in our newsletters and emails. You can also add discount codes to your listings, please contact us to add these to your listing.

  14. You will also be added to our Business to Business membership. This gives local businesses the opportunity to share offers and discounts with each other. You will be issued with a membership card upon joining. 

  15. Included in your gold listing is a FREE logo design if required, this includes unlimited changes until you are happy with it. 

  16. Any videos, images and wording in your listing must be appropriate and not violate any copyright laws. Anything that will feel may be inappropriate will be refused.
